He started his education at Ankara University Law School (Law Degree, 1959). After winning the scholarship of the Ministry of Justice, obtained his Ph. D. in Law at the University of Rome (Italy) School of Law (Ph.D. in Law). In the following years he became an Assistant Professor and then Professor at Ankara University. In 1975, he visited and researched as a guest professor at Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley in the U.S.A. He was again a visiting Scholar and Researcher in the International Law Department of the School of Law of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, the U.S.A. between 1978-1979. While working as a lecturer at Ankara University, he also gave lectures in Sociology of Criminality at the Faculties of Sociology, Social Work and Economy at Hacettepe University between 1968-1972 and taught Criminal Law at the Police Academy between 1970-1975, 1976-1978 and 1980-1988.
He was admitted to the Ankara Bar Association in 1968 following the completion of his traineeship. After providing consultancy services to various companies, founded Ersoy Law Office.
After his retirement from the Ankara University in 2003, he gave lectures between 2005-2015 at the Law Faculty of Bilkent University in Ankara on International Commercial Arbitration.
Av. Prof. Dr. Yüksel Ersoy, has been acting as “defense counsel” or “arbitrator” in international commercial arbitration cases, mainly carried out under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris or under UNCITRAL Rules or local arbitration rules.

Professional education started at Bilkent University, International Relations (B.A., 1994) followed by University of East Anglia Law School, Norwich, U.K. (LL.B., 1997). After his return to Turkey, he obtained his equivalency in Turkish Law in 1998 from the Law Faculty at Galatasaray University in Istanbul after which he was admitted to the Ankara Bar Association.

After graduation, he was In-house counsel in the Legal Department of Turkiye İs Bankasi (Labour Bank of Turkey) during 1980-1999. After his retirement from this position Cansel Ersoy joined our legal team at the Ersoy Law Office.

He was admitted to the Ankara Bar Association in 1985, Ankara Turkey. Professional education started at İstanbul University Law School (Law Degree, 1984). After completing his apprenticeship as a lawyer with Prof. Dr. Yüksel Ersoy, he continued to work as a solo practitioner but joins the legal team at Ersoy Law Office from time to time on a per-project basis.
